Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/A-Level Mechanic with strong diagnostic ability and a minimum of 5 years of professional repair experience. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues, from routine maintenance to complex drivability and module communication concerns. This position is best suited for a technician who is comfortable performing bumper-to-bumper repairs in a fast-paced, professional shop environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and other critical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, scanner equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Service and repair GM vehicles, european and diesel engines, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct wheel alignments and suspension work to optimize vehicle performance. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Ability to manage workflow independently with minimal supervision Capable of prioritizing multiple repair orders in a fast-paced shop Skills Proven mechanical experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, preferable background as a A-level Technican Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and engine repair. Looking for technicians comfortable with bumper-to-bumper repair work on all makes and models of vehicles. Skilled in using automotive diagnostics software, schematics reading, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficient with hand tools, lifts, power tools, scanner equipment, and alignment machinery. Proven experience performing advanced diagnostics Must own a comprehensive set of professional tools ASE certifications preferred (or ability to obtain) Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Must be able to diagnose vehicles without relying solely on parts replacement
