Experienced Boarding Kennel/Daycare Attendant 18+

Kennel Work/Doggie Day Care (Spring City) compensation: depends on experience employment type: part-time We are looking for people with experience in the field who are responsible, pet loving persons 18 + who are ready to provide exceptional care for pets. Prior experience in a commercial pet care facility/handling is necessary. Candidates must have a love for animals; a high level of energy; ability to focus to ensure that the animals are cared for in a safe and healthy environment. Various shifts esp during the summer, but at least one weekend day and all holidays are required. Weekly hours are 7am-12 and 3-6pm. Saturday 7-12 and 1-3 and Sunday is 7-12 and 3-5. This is a part time position in the Phoenixville/Pottstown/Spring City area Daily responsibilities will include:

• Helping pet owners at pick up and drop off times
• Taking dogs for relief walks - LOTS of walking
• Supervising and playing with dogs
• Feeding & medicating animals
• Cleaning up after animals
• Bathing animals
• Monitoring animal health
• Maintaining cleanliness of kennel facilities and play areas by mopping, sweeping and power washing
• weekends and holidays

REQUIRED
