As a Cultivation Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal plant health and productivity. Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance tasks including watering, fertilizing, and pruning plants. Identify and manage plant diseases and pests through appropriate interventions. Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules. Assist in planting, transplanting, and harvesting crops as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse or cultivation area. Utilize basic math skills for measuring nutrients and calculating growth metrics. Conduct regular inspections of plants to monitor growth progress and identify any issues. Collaborate with team members to implement best practices in cultivation techniques. Requirements Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or greenhouse operations is preferred. Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining cultivation equipment is a plus. Ability to identify various plant species and their specific care needs. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required. Familiarity with irrigation techniques and systems is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
