Experienced Commercial Garage Door Technician / Installer Iconic Garage Door | Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Benefits Iconic Garage Door is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Garage Door Technician / Installer to join our growing team. We are looking for a skilled professional with strong technical abilities, installation experience, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and troubleshoot commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, sectional doors, fire doors, and dock equipment Install and configure commercial door operators, sensors, remotes, keypads, and access control systems Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Perform accurate site measurements and job assessments Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using proper tools and testing equipment Ensure all installations meet OSHA standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes Safely operate ladders, lifts, power tools, welding equipment, and job-site machinery Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with contractors, property managers, and clients Complete service documentation and job reports accurately and efficiently

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of commercial garage door installation or service experience Experience with commercial operators, loading dock systems, hollow metal doors, and access systems preferred Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and motor systems Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welders, and diagnostic equipment Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions OSHA certification or safety training is a plus Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift experience preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or with a team
