• Part-time We are a small, family-owned boarding kennel dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and caring environment for our canine guests.

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Dog Kennel Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing grooming tasks including bathing and nail trimming (required) Daily care of boarding dogs, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health and behavior Cleaning and maintaining kennels, runs, and common areas to ensure a sanitary environment Exercising and safely handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments Ensuring dogs are clean, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay Observing and reporting any health or behavioral concerns to management

Qualifications:

Several years of hands-on experience working with dogs (boarding kennel, veterinary clinic, grooming facility, or similar environment) Proven experience as a dog bather, including nail trimming, is required Strong dog-handling skills and confidence working with different breeds and temperaments Ability to recognize basic signs of illness or stress in dogs Comfortable working in a physically active environment (standing, lifting, cleaning) Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a small team Genuine love and respect for animals Preferred (but not required): Experience administering medications Additional grooming experience
