Job Description

Fireside Technologies is a growing life safety and fire protection company serving the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State area. We pride ourselves on fast response times, professionalism, quality workmanship, and taking our customers' life safety needs seriously. We are seeking a highly experienced Fire Sprinkler Service & Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with sprinkler system inspections, testing, service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. This position is ideal for a seasoned technician who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and help support the continued growth of our sprinkler division. Responsibilities Perform quarterly, annual, 3-year, and 5-year sprinkler inspections in accordance with NFPA 25. Inspect, test, maintain, and repair wet, dry, pre-action, standpipe, and fire pump systems. Conduct hydrant inspections, hydrant flow testing, and backflow inspections/testing. Perform dry system air tests and full-flow trip testing. Complete 5-year inspections including internal pipe inspections, FDC inspections/hydrostatic testing, and gauge replacement. Diagnose and repair sprinkler system deficiencies. Assist with sprinkler installations, remodels, and system modifications. Read blueprints, riser diagrams, and technical drawings. Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation. Work independently or as part of a team while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of sprinkler inspection, service, and installation experience. Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25. Ability to troubleshoot sprinkler systems independently. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications NICET Level I or higher. Backflow tester certification. Fire pump inspection/testing experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
