We represent clients nationwide and are known for high-quality legal work, strong client advocacy, and a mission-driven approach to serving immigrant communities. We are seeking a highly experienced Immigration Paralegal who can manage deportation and complex immigration matters with precision, urgency, and professionalism. This is not an entry-level position. Key Responsibilities & Position Overview Prepare and file: Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Continue, Bond packets and supporting evidence, Cancellation of Removal (42A, 42B, VAWA), Motions to Reopen/Reconsider, Draft hardship declarations and evidence summaries Manage court deadlines and hearing preparation, Communicate with EOIR, ICE, and detention facilities, Asylum (defensive)
USCIS Casework :
Prepare and assemble all family and business based forms, Prepare RFEs and NOIDs Organize supporting documentation and exhibits
Client & Case Management :
Conduct client intakes and follow-ups, Maintain accurate case notes and document tracking, Manage deadlines and workflow in case management system (Docketwise experience preferred, Ensure all filings meet firm quality standards Manage and organize immigration case files using legal case management systems and ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with deadlines. Draft, review, and file legal documents related to immigration law, including petitions, applications, affidavits, and correspondence. Paralegal experience with a strong background in immigration law is required; Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal administrative systems like iManage and Clio is highly desirable Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy. Exceptional interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette for client interactions. Knowledge of legal procedures related to immigration cases This paid position offers an enriching environment where your expertise supports meaningful client outcomes every day. Minimum 3 years immigration law experience Removal/Deportation experience strongly preferred Experience preparing EOIR filings Fluency in Spanish OR French a plus Reliable, punctual, and able to work in-office
