Experienced Maintenance Tech (1+ year exp. req.)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and care of the main property and rental units.

Responsibilities:

. Utilize hand tools and power tools

• Check equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure everything is in working order
• Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc.
• Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Complete general maintenance on or in any rental units
• Repair malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures
• Install and maintain ventilation, heating and refrigeration units
• Respond to guest repair requests
• Perform light landscaping and groundskeeping work as needed
• Select and contact specialists on larger maintenance related projects
• Advise purchasing manager during new equipment purchases
• Train employees on proper equipment usage

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in general maintenance or related field
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
