Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our groundskeeping and landscape maintenance operations. The Superintendent will be responsible for supervising a team of landscapers, ensuring the proper care and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for creating beautiful and well-maintained landscapes.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of landscapers and provide guidance and direction
• Plan, organize, and schedule daily tasks for the landscaping crew
• Oversee the care and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas
• Develop and implement landscaping plans to enhance the overall appearance of the property
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for equipment repairs or purchases
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Train new employees on proper landscaping techniques and procedures
• Monitor irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage
• Perform regular inspections to identify any issues or areas in need of improvement

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of tree care, garden maintenance, lawn care, and irrigation systems
• Proven experience in supervising a team of landscapers or similar role
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and quality workmanship
