In this energetic role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and inspecting kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Duties Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, filters, ducts, filters and related ventilation components following established safety protocols. Inspect systems for grease buildup, blockages, or damage; report findings and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance. Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify system components during cleaning and inspection processes. Use appropriate tools and equipment for disassembly, assembly, and cleaning tasks, ensuring all work meets safety standards. Assist with minor appliance repair tasks related to ventilation systems or associated equipment when needed. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each job site. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, answer questions about system maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction.

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION AND VALID NJ DRIVER'S LICENSE

Experience Minimum 3 years prior experience in field service roles involving Hood cleaning, and equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Experience as a service technician or hands-on mechanical skills is a plus. Strong customer service skills are essential for building positive relationships with clients during service visits. Previous roles involving hood cleaning and equipment assembly demonstrate your technical aptitude and attention to detail.
