Experienced Optician (Mandarin/Cantonese/Spanish Speaker)

Job Summary We are seeking a multilingual optician (English & Cantonese/Mandarin) to fill our optician role. On-job training offered, with receptionist/sales experience preferred. Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk. Verify insurance information and collect patient payments. Maintain patient records and update necessary information. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents. Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns. Coordinate with optometry staff to ensure smooth patient flow Requirements Previous experience working in an optical office or medical receptionist role preferred. Proficient in using phone systems and computerized scheduling software. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Previous experience in sales or retail management is advantageous for engaging diverse audiences. Proficient understanding of medical records and medical billing processes is desirable. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of office management procedures and basic accounting principles. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
