Experienced Dog Groomer - High-End Salon (Chester, NJ and possibly Livingston NJ) Well Bred, The Healthy Pet Marketplace is seeking an Experienced Groomer with a true passion for grooming and a deep love for dogs to join our team in our high-end, gentle grooming salons located in Chester and Livingston NJ. Position Details:

Part-time to start (2-3 days/week, including Saturdays) Opportunity to grow into full-time (5 days/week) Full-time available immediately if you can work in both salons

Hours:

8:50 AM - 5:30 PM (plus time to clean and close the salon)

Pay:

Experienced groomers: commission or hourly (whichever is higher) + tips Less experienced groomers: hourly + tips (with the opportunity to move to commission as skills grow)

What You'll Do :

Groom and style dogs of all breeds and sizes according to standards and modern trends Communicate with clients about grooming requests, schedules, and pick-ups Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment Handle laundry and salon upkeep Use our scheduling program to manage appointments Contribute to smooth salon operations

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 4 years of professional grooming experience (non-corporate salons preferred) Strong knowledge of grooming techniques, breed standards, and current styles Gentle, compassionate handling of dogs - no rough treatment ever Pride in your craft and strong work ethic Reliability, teamwork, and professionalism Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift dogs of all sizes for extended periods Ownership of grooming tools Computer literacy Commitment to
