Job Description

Project Engineer - Commercial Plumbing (Office-Based) We are a growing commercial plumbing company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the owner and project management team in our office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to gain hands-on experience in commercial construction and plumbing project execution. Position Overview The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination, documentation, scheduling support, and communication between field teams, vendors, and clients. This is an office-based role with exposure to all phases of commercial plumbing projects. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in managing multiple commercial plumbing projects Assist with project scheduling, tracking milestones, and updating timelines Prepare and review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and field teams Help maintain accurate project records, drawings, and specifications Assist with material procurement tracking and delivery coordination Attend project meetings and document meeting notes and action items Provide general administrative and technical support as needed Qualifications Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Interest in commercial construction or plumbing/mechanical systems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction software is a plus Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
