Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated lead crusher operator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position must be familiar with the operation of a mobile crusher and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently that is used in the everyday functions of a crushing operation. This position is a lead position that will be in charge of the crushing crew and has the ability to work productively and positively with other employees. With this position, the candidate must have knowledge of all MSHA and OSHA rules that are involved with a crushing operation. Must have at least 3 years of experience in the rock crushing occupation. $32-$34 DOE. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as 980 sized loaders, water trucks, Cat 336 sized excavator, D8 sized dozers, 30 ton rock trucks, and 300 sized rock hammers. Knowledge of crusher equipment including, Jaw, Cone, Impact crushers, screens, and generator. Ensure proper maintenance of equipment by conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues. Collaborate with team members to coordinate site activities and ensure efficient workflow. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the site. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with loaders and water trucks, excavators, dozers, crusher equipment, and rock hammers. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. Valid commercial driving license Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Has a preventative maintenance mindset Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Natural leader Willingness to learn new skills related to construction operations.
