Experienced Roofer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and related construction skills. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. The Roofer will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Install roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and flat roofs according to specifications. Repair and replace damaged roofing materials to ensure the integrity of the roof. Perform inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Utilize schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements. Conduct heavy lifting as needed for materials and equipment during installation. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Familiarity with various roofing materials such as asphalt, metal, tile, and stucco. Skills in maintenance person tasks including masonry, framing carpentry, and tile laying are preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints effectively. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
