Experienced Scheduling Coordinator Brunswick, GA From $18 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $18 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Description FirstLight Home Care is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Scheduler / Administrative Assistant to support daily operations by coordinating caregiver and client schedules and providing professional administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the healthcare or home care field. Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments to ensure full client coverage Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide excellent customer service Respond to new client referrals and inquiries in a timely manner Communicate schedule updates and changes with caregivers and clients Handle after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities (rotating schedule) Maintain accurate client and employee records in scheduling systems Monitor staffing needs and assist with scheduling reports Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect confidential information Support office operations and team initiatives Requirements 1-2 years of administrative or office experience required Scheduling experience preferred (healthcare or home care a plus) Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent situations Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Work Environment Office-based role with frequent phone and computer use Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs Professional healthcare environment requiring confidentiality Schedule Monday to Friday 9 a.m to 5 p.m Rotating on-call (evenings/weekends as needed)
