The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and proficiency with Toast POS systems. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, upscale environment where attention to detail and hospitality excellence are valued. Prior experience in fine dining, food handling, and restaurant operations is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive service, managing guest needs, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained throughout their shift. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service in accordance with restaurant standards Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS and OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties when necessary Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts Qualifications Proven experience as a server in a restaurant setting; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems including Toast POS and OpenTable Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles such as host/host or bartender is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule Join our team if you are passionate about providing outstanding service in a vibrant environment where your skills can shine.
