Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program
HAAS VF4 CNC
machines, limited lathe and Bridgeport milling machining, to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. Duties Set up, operate, and troubleshoot milling machines and equipment to produce complex parts. Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM software, ensuring optimal machining strategies. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to accurately produce parts. Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, tooling setups, and calibration procedures. Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to machining operations and forklift operations. Qualifications Proven experience operating Haas machinery or similar systems. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code), CAM programming software, and SolidWorks or CAD for part design. Excellent blueprint reading skills combined with a solid understanding of GD&T principles. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup, and basic math skills for precise measurement calculations. Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines confidently. Valid forklift certification is preferred; ability to operate power tools safely is essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship; excellent problem-solving skills are a plus.
