Experienced Staff Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing complex accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering accurate financial reports to the Regional Controller and CFO. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and enhance your technical accounting skills. This position is 100% in office. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards. Conduct detailed account reconciliations including general ledger, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data. Perform complex journal entries, accruals, and adjustments using accounting software Assist with internal controls compliance and support audit processes through detailed documentation and coordination. Close collaboration with local teams , vendors, customers, and corporate finance Review and validate supporting documentation for accuracy, proper approval, GL coding, and purchase order invoicing Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum 5 years' project accounting experience, including budgeting, job cost reporting, and revenue recognition Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts. Extensive knowledge of financial software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) is a PLUS! Hands-on experience with account reconciliation, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management. Strong knowledge in project-based invoicing and purchase order invoicing Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. Excellent communication skills for financial report writing and presentations. Pay:

$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
