We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values excellent client communication and patient care. Position Overview The Veterinary Receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients and plays an essential role in creating a positive experience for pets and their families. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Responsibilities Greeting clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner Answering multi-line phone systems and scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out efficiently Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records Managing medical records, email correspondence, and client communications Sending and receiving medical records Assisting with prescription requests and refill coordination Communicating clearly with veterinarians and support staff Maintaining a clean and organized front desk and lobby area Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and compassion during stressful situations Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting required Strong client service, communication, multitasking, and attention to detail Knowledge of vaccine schedules and basic veterinary terminology Ability to recognize potential medical emergencies and respond appropriately Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Ability to lift 40 lbs independently Ability to stand for extended periods of time Preferred Qualifications Veterinary receptionist experience Experience with ezyVet veterinary software Experience in a multi-doctor veterinary practice Saturday availability preferred Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee pet care discount Supportive team environment Opportunities for long-term growth and development Schedule Clinic hours:
