Experienced Waiter

Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a welcoming attitude Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth operations Experience Proven experience as a waiter in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment, preferably with fine dining or nightclub exposure Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive guest relations in diverse settings Experience with food preparation, serving techniques, and basic math for cash handling and order calculations Prior host/hostess or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service in a lively environment.
