Expo/Food Runner/busser

In this energetic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring timely food delivery, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with food handling and service. Spanish is a plus but not required! Duties Assist servers by delivering prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring hot foods stay hot and cold foods stay cold. Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating, garnishing, or organizing dishes for service. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, bus stations, and service stations following food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service and address guest needs. Handle food handling responsibilities safely, adhering to all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines. Support banquet or special event setups when required, including bussing tables and assisting with guest services. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience with POS systems such as clover is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods during busy shifts. Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to serve are essential! Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience can enhance your ability to support food prep tasks.
