Expo/Line Cook/Grill/Assistant Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook / Grill or Expo to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation. Assist with menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service and meal preparation. Utilize knife skills effectively for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency. Skills Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in fine dining or restaurant settings. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices. Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus. Ability to plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs. Excellent cooking skills with a focus on meal preparation techniques. Familiarity with catering services and serving practices. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
