The successful applicants will teach personal/social skills, self-help, daily living, academic/cognitive/ language, ?ne and gross motor skills. Applicants will provide instructional services to primary/intermediate age special education students in the areas described above as listed as critical skills on the students' IEPs. Quali?cations include West Virginia teacher certi?cation in multi-categorical with Autism, K-12, or behavior disorders including autism, K-12. Salary Schedule Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and veri?ed years of experience. Quali?cations Requirements Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a quali?ed and e?ective candidate for the vacancy. Holds or can obtain West Virginia Teacher certi?cation in pre-school special needs. Ability to collaborate with others and work closely with the County's Pre-K program director and sta?, parents/guardians, classroom aides, Pre-K team at the school, and other pertinent personnel in order to best meet the needs of students. Professional traits such as strong organization skills, ?exibility, patience, and personal responsibility are important to be a successful. E?ective verbal and written skills, and interpersonal skills are required.
