This energetic role involves monitoring outdoor areas during the evening hours, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. You'll play a vital part in maintaining security, preventing loss, and managing any incidents with professionalism and confidence. Responsibilities Patrol outdoor communal areas, including pathways, entrances, and recreational zones, to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety. Monitor activity around the park's perimeter and key access points. Respond promptly to security alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Manage access control by verifying residents' credentials and monitoring visitor entries during shift hours. Enforce community rules and policies related to safety, parking, and conduct with respectful conflict management techniques. Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs for future reference and follow-up. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism within the community. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to respond effectively during emergencies. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations professionally. Ability to stand, walk, or patrol outdoor areas for extended periods during shift hours. Excellent observational skills combined with attention to detail when conducting inspections or surveillance.
