Full-Time About Us Mountain States Plastics is a high-volume manufacturer of industrial films. Our Johnstown facility is clean, BRCGS-certified, and outfitted entirely with state-of-the-art multi-layer extrusion equipment and fully digital production systems. The Role We are hiring mechanically inclined Machine Operators to run our production lines. Prior blown film extrusion experience is not required—we provide the technical training. You must bring a solid mechanical background, comfort with digital interfaces, and the ability to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery. Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust high-tech, multi-layer manufacturing equipment.

Learn the extrusion process to control critical variables like temperature, line speed, and film thickness. Log production data, scrap rates, and quality metrics in real-time using our digital tablet-based system. Conduct precise quality control tests to ensure all materials meet compliance standards. Troubleshoot mechanical and machine-control issues on the production floor. Requirements

• Proven mechanical background (e.

g., advanced manufacturing, automotive, aviation, or heavy equipment maintenance). Highly comfortable interacting with digital touchscreens and automated machine controls. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical data and make mechanical adjustments. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in an active industrial environment. Schedule:

2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shifts. You will only work 14 to 15 days a month, giving you half the year off.
