C Simulator Technician II Company:

Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a F-15C Simulator Technician II to support the F‐15C Weapons and Tactics Trainers at the Tyndall AFB, Florida.

Position Responsibilities:

Assists with operations, repairs, tests, installs, configures, and upgrades Assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and software Performs general inspections for pre‐operations, post‐operations, and component handling of training devices, assemblies, and components Inspects components and/or Line‐Replaceable Units to verify status prior to installation Assists engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment Troubleshoots to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components Assists instructors/aircrews during scheduled training missions Performs logistical, administrative, and other collateral duties as necessary to maintain the training devices Occasional travel required for urgent simulator maintenance activities and/or training opportunities Works under partial supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc) Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance with U.S. citizenship Ability to obtain access to Special Access Program (SAP) Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements) Willing to work a rotating shift Ability to climb ladders at heights up to 15 feet and stairs on a regular basis Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Associate's degree or equivalent in related work experience SAP Access F-15 (or comparable fighter-type) flight line avionics background Experience in electronics, computer information systems, visual display systems, and/or simulation systems

Rotating Shifts:

1st shift hours: 6:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. 2nd shift hours: 12:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
