Terms of Appointment Semester term appointment % varies Source of Funds State Qualifications Candidates for these positions must have a Master's of Science in Nursing, doctorate is preferred. Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) is required for any graduate faculty position. Two years' clinical experience in specialty area being applied for is required. Previous teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program is preferred, but not required. RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri is required.
