Opportunity:

The purpose of this job is to assist with the fabrication and installation of solid surface products. Working as part of a team, must be able to operate assorted hand tools, safely operate machinery, and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Production Lead.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Interface with co-workers to coordinate project needs, including metal framework, crating, shipping, & job scheduling.
• Fabricate materials (solid surface and others) according to specifications.
• Promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction through accurate quality work and courteous, conscientious positive attitude.
• Travel to job sites and install solid surface products.
• Maintain sufficient inventory of necessary project materials and shop supplies.
• Maintain shop equipment and perform other routine maintenance.
• Assist with all other shop positions as schedule dictates.
• Assist with other shop floor tasks as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by manager within scope of practice. What makes you a great fit:

• Safety Compliance- Working knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe operating procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings & specs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Proficient use of shop equipment, tools, and fabrication methods.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized and ability to problem solve.
• Practical knowledge of proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and hazardous material handling practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous material handling experience- specifically solid surface slabs preferred
• Must be 18 years old or older to operate machinery or equipment.
• Must have a current driver's license.
• Must have a DOT Medical Card or be willing to receive a DOT Medical Card.
• Must adhere to the organization's Safety AWAIR program.
• Must have Forklift Certification or be willing to receive training. Why work with our client?
