Hiring Fabrication Supervisor!

  • 6p (F-Sun) (Paid 40hrs) $27-33/hr (BOE) Job Description This role is responsible for overseeing fabrication operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
The Fabrication Supervisor will lead a team of fabricators, welders, and machine operators, coordinating daily activities, monitoring workflow, and driving continuous improvement across the shop floor. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication operations, including cutting, welding, forming, and assembly processes. Lead, train, and develop fabrication team members to ensure skill growth and adherence to company standards. Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure production schedules and deadlines are met. Ensure all fabrication activities meet quality standards, blueprints, and customer specifications. Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct daily safety meetings, audits, and address any hazards or unsafe practices. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Coordinate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to optimize workflow and production efficiency. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed. Review and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings with the team. Track production metrics, labor efficiency, and report on performance to management. Ensure accurate material usage, inventory control, and minimize waste. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient fabrication area. Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
