Job Description
Lantana Recovery was founded by individuals in long-term recovery from substance use disorders with a vision to provide an alternative to traditional addiction treatment models. The organization offers customized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, educational, and vocational needs of each client. Lantana Recovery emphasizes innovative and personalized treatment experiences rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. The programs are designed to support clients as they work toward meaningful and lasting recovery. Position Overview The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, safety, and overall appearance of Lantana Recovery's clinical building and all residential housing campuses. This hands-on role is essential to creating and sustaining a welcoming, safe, and well-functioning environment for clients, staff, and visitors. The Facilities Coordinator performs routine maintenance, completes small repairs, conducts regular site inspections, and proactively addresses facilities issues across all locations. This position works closely with the Director of Operations to ensure all properties meet organizational, regulatory, and safety standards. Core Responsibilities Cleanliness & Sanitation Oversee and maintain cleanliness standards across the clinical building and all housing campuses, including common areas, restrooms, kitchens, outdoor spaces, and client rooms. Perform or coordinate routine cleaning tasks to ensure all spaces are sanitary, organized, and presentable at all times. Monitor cleaning supply inventory and coordinate restocking as needed. Ensure trash removal, recycling, and waste disposal are completed on schedule across all sites. Maintenance & Small Repairs Perform small repairs and general maintenance tasks including painting, patching, fixture replacement, furniture assembly, door and lock adjustments, and minor plumbing and electrical fixes within scope. Conduct regular walkthroughs of all properties to identify and address maintenance needs proactively before they escalate. Maintain a maintenance log, documenting completed work, ongoing issues, and repair histories for each site. Coordinate with and manage outside vendors and contractors for repairs or projects outside the scope of in-house capabilities; obtain estimates and communicate progress to the Director of Operations. Ensure all facilities equipment (HVAC filters, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, etc.) is inspected and serviced on schedule. Safety & Compliance Ensure all properties meet applicable health, safety, fire, and building code requirements. Promptly identify and address any safety hazards, reporting issues that require escalation to the Director of Operations immediately. Support preparation for regulatory inspections and audits by ensuring facilities are maintained to required standards at all times. Maintain and organize storage areas for maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment in a safe and orderly manner. Multi-Site Coordination Travel between the clinical building and all housing campuses on a regular basis to perform inspections, maintenance, and follow-up on outstanding items. Prioritize and manage workload effectively across multiple sites, responding to urgent needs while keeping routine tasks on schedule. Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations regarding site status, outstanding issues, and project updates. General Support Set up and break down furniture, equipment, or spaces for events, groups, or program needs as requested. Assist with move-ins and move-outs at housing campuses, ensuring rooms are cleaned, repaired, and ready for incoming clients. Respond to facilities-related requests from clinical and operational staff in a timely and professional manner. Demonstrate respect and professionalism in all interactions with clients, staff, and visitors, maintaining appropriate boundaries in a recovery environment.
