Facilities Custodial Associate

Description:

Perform janitorial and cleaning duties throughout our manufacturing plant and general facilities. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment for all employees.

Requirements:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors in plant and facility areas Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces Restock restroom and cleaning supplies Change filters as needed throughout facility Perform deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or required Ensure that cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained in good working order Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) Support cleanliness in production areas, including wiping down equipment and surfaces (non-technical)

Required Skills/Abilities:

Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in an industrial or manufacturing environment Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
