Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Flamingo Resort on Lake George is a sixty-unit, seasonal resort with openings for candidates to join our Maintenance team. The position is from Memorial Day - September 15th Applicants should be able to work independently or cooperatively, and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities will include:

Entry-level maintenance work, including replacing light bulbs, empty and pickup trash, unlocking doors for guests, test and clean pools. Responding to guest requests, and troubleshooting problems with televisions, wall-mounted air conditioners, refrigerators, stoves, toilets, sinks, or hot water tanks. Identify maintenance problems as part of routine room and property inspections. Groundskeeping, gardening, maintenance of flower beds. Candidate must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds. Candidates of any skill level are welcome to apply, and shift assignments are flexible. There is an 8AM - 3PM position and 3PM - 11PM position. Compensation will be negotiated based on relevant experience.
