Maintenance Technician (Preventive Maintenance)

Pay:

$20-$28/hour | Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing conveyors, sortation systems, and other critical warehouse equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with a variety of systems. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on conveyors, sortation systems, palletizers, and warehouse equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, and drive systems Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting (circuits, sensors, control components) Assist with the installation of new equipment and facility upgrades Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and work orders Required Skills & Experience Experience working with conveyor systems and material handling equipment Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices Basic experience with electrical systems (120V-480V preferred) Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams Experience with motors, pumps, and gearboxes Preferred Qualifications PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley a plus) Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $20-$28/hour (based on experience) Opportunity for growth and skill development Stable, full-time employment Supportive team environment Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Gansevoort, NY.
