Job Description

FACILITIES OPERATOR REVISED

October 1, 2024 The Facilities Operator is responsible for the routine maintenance of the facility and its utility requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment. Check all equipment for fluid levels. Maintain grounds and landscaping. Perform weekly inspections as outlined on all equipment and systems. Report any major repair needs or requests for tools and supplies immediately. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training required. All other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21). Minimum one (1) year experience in at least two (2) of the following: electrical work, carpentry, painting, plumbing, or construction. Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills. Understanding of health and safety codes, including knowledge of hazardous materials. If driving is required for company business, must have a valid driver's license, and be insurable through Eagle Mountain Casino's insurance carrier. Willing to attend training as well as train other Team Members. Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL
While performing duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, and walk. Must be able to perform in outdoor environments with frequent exposure to unpredictable weather conditions including heat, rain, cold and wind. Exposed to loud tools and machines while performing job duties. Exposed to cigarette smoke, bells, ringing, and flashing lights when on the casino floor. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
