Job Description

TITLE:
FACILITIES SPECIALIST APPROVED
October 1, 2024 The Facilities Specialist is responsible for all necessary duties;
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of the entire facility. New construction of lesser scale projects. Requisition supplies and equipment as needed Keep records, compile, and submit reports of carpentry activities as required. Take inventory of carpentry supplies and equipment as necessary. Report any major repair needs and/or concerns. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required. All other departmental duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21). Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Maintenance level experience equivalent to three (3) years' in the carpentry field. Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable through Eagle Mountain Casino's insurance carrier. Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of the facilities. Ability to locate and diagnose structural defects throughout the facility. Ability to estimate costs of repairs and order supplies and equipment as needed. Able to perform skilled tasks relative to carpentry. Able to keep records and prepare reports. Understanding of health and safety codes, including knowledge of hazardous materials. Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL
While performing duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to reach with hands and arms, to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl. Must be able to perform in outdoor environments with frequent exposure to unpredictable weather conditions including heat, rain, cold and wind. Noise level is moderate to loud. Exposed to loud tools and machines while performing job duties. Exposed to cigarette smoke, bells, ringing, and flashing lights when on the casino floor. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
