Role:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the maintenance, repair, and improvement of a professional manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment while supporting facility operations and equipment upkeep.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general facility maintenance including lighting, ceiling tiles, basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Assist with equipment and office moves, installations, leaks, clogs, painting, floor maintenance, and general building upkeep
- Support construction-related projects including drywall repair, door adjustments, and flooring work
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment including air filters, humidifiers, air conditioning systems, and safety equipment
- Conduct routine facility and safety inspections and maintain accurate maintenance documentation
- Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance with outside vendors as needed
- Assemble/disassemble fixtures, furniture, tables, and storage racks
- Follow safety procedures, maintenance schedules, and standard operating procedures at all times
- Support facility needs during overtime, weather-related, or emergency situations when required
SPECIALIZED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Basic understanding of building trades, facility equipment, and construction methods
- Ability to safely use standard hand and power tools
- Strong attention to safety and ability to identify unsafe conditions
- Basicputer skills and ability toplete maintenance documentation
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, HVAC systems, or 5S/Lean concepts is a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Technical/Vocational High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, ideally in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction trades
- Minimum of 1 year of facility maintenance experience in a professional or manufacturing environment required If interested, please directly to this posting.
Pay Details:
