Facility EVS Manager Silver Reef Casino Resort - 5.0 Ferndale, WA Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Equipment troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Delegation Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Under supervision of Director of Facilities, assist in coordinating the predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance and/or cleanliness of the entire campus. This includes Casino, Hotel, Event Center, Warehouse, Golf Course and Storage areas. Directly supervise and manage Environmental Services, Housekeeping, and Floor cleaning crews. Responsible for cleaning schedules, procedures, chemicals, and specialized cleaning equipment. Task with directing corrective repairs or maintenance as needed. Follow and mandate adherence of casino and departmental policies and procedures. Rotating shifts and/or set day/night work schedules as required.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervisory Responsibilities May at times act in the absence of Facilities Manager. Meet daily with leads to ensure Quality Assurance is being met regarding resort cleanliness. Exemplify Navigating to Excellence service standards and ensure it is being taught and utilized by all staff. Supports established policies and procedures for SRCR. Assist Director of Facilities to hire, transfer, promote, reward, discipline, evaluate and discharge of team members on assigned shift and review any Notice of Conducts with the manager prior to providing to the staff Administrative Ensure buffers, scrubbers, polishers, extractors, Kivac cleaners, are in good working order and all team members are trained and know how to proficiently operate. Assist in managing service and supply contracts. Daily utilizes and manages, assigns tasks, using the Work Order System to ensure documentation and team members' work is being accurately tracked. Track labor, tasks, equipment, parts, supplies, inventory, and machine history in work order system. Ensure all carpet, hard floor, restrooms, bars, and kitchen are clean and maintained daily to SRCR standards. Maintain a log of highlights occurring during shift coverage in conjunction with proper pass down entries. Assist preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis. Quality Assurance/Safety Maintains strict adherence to all OSHA Safety rules and regulations are followed while keeping updated SDS sheets in the appropriate areas - providing an additional copy to Security. Supports all Risk Management guidelines for fire and safety including the proper storage of chemicals, paints, etc. Trains all team members in the proper techniques of using chemicals. Make sure all bottles are labeled properly and ensure chemical bottles have proper chemical labels. Maintains all work areas and ensures housekeeping equipment is free of safety violations. Reports any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to manager Physical and Mental requirements Constantly required to use hands, handling or feeling objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking or hearing; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to stand; walk climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 + years High school diploma or GED required Must have proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook Five (5) years housekeeping supervisory experience preferred or previous experience of working within a hospitality or leisure background. Highly proficient in all cleaning equipment operation and procedures. Some engineering mechanical understanding and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to read and write simple instructions, short email correspondence and memos. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members of the organization and via email. Excellent verbal communication skills. Must be friendly, approachable, and team-orientatedPreferred Qualifications:
1 year of supervisory or management experience, or demonstrated frontline team leadership. Healthcare environmental services experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. Floor care experience and the ability to train others on proper techniques. Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills. Microsoft Office or similar workplace technology skills.Licensing Requirements:

Works with or near moving mechanical parts. Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock. Works mostly indoors, occasionally works outdoor, must deal with cigarette smoke. Works in a moderate noise level environment, increasing to loud when on the casino floor.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 + years High school diploma or GED required Must have proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook Five (5) years housekeeping supervisory experience preferred or previous experience of working within a hospitality or leisure background.
