Facility Maintenance Technician

Central Storage & Warehouse is a premier provider of temperature-controlled warehouse services, offering extensive cold storage capabilities. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Wisconsin Rapids warehouse with starting hourly pay of $24/hr plus fully paid employee health & dental insurance. This position is Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

Perform general building, facility and grounds repairs Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, policies and procedure manuals Maintain and repair electric forklifts, transporters, batteries and chargers Maintain and repair interior and exterior lighting Enforce safety at the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company issued, and procured assets Communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and contractors Promote, build, and maintain good customer and vendor relations Schedule and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery as required; report to management issues, orders, and parts needed Document and maintain operational, and safety reporting

Requirements:

Must have valid driver's license Must have on-call availability for emergencies Experience with low voltage, and/or pneumatic controls Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems Experience with 480 volt, 3 phase electrical systems Experience with computer software, energy management system, emails, text Experience with electronic controls (PLCs, VFDs) a plus Experience with Anhydrous Ammonia (NH3) refrigeration systems a plus

Physical Requirements:

This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage). This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10lbs, frequently lift and or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs. Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements for maintenance, repair and service procedures. Work at heights with appropriate PPE from 20' to 40' required.
