Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C), Primary Care FQHC, Community Health, Loan Forgiveness (NHSC Eligible) Family Practice, Preventive Care, Underserved Population Focus Starting Salary $105K-$110K + Productivity Bonus ($30K-$50K+) 100% Employer-Paid Health Insurance Faison, NC 28341 HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a full-time primary care role within a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center. This clinic provides care to underserved and underinsured populations across all ages, with a focus on access, continuity, and preventive medicine. Primary Care NP / PA Responsibilities Full-time schedule based on clinic hours Options include 5x8s or 4x10s depending on site needs No call responsibility; after-hours coverage handled externally Provide full-scope primary care across the lifespan Manage annual visits, chronic conditions, and sick visits Average volume of ~16 patients per day High performers see up to 25 patients/day for maximum bonus Follow structured visit model with standard and extended visits Review labs, imaging, and follow-ups daily Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Work with dedicated Medical Assistant or LVN support Refer patients to specialists as clinically appropriate Participate in outreach and preventive health initiatives Perform procedures based on skill set (e.g., suturing, splinting) Primary Care NP / PA Requirements Active NP or PA-C license (or ability to obtain in NC) Primary care or family practice experience preferred Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan Able to manage consistent daily patient volume Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills Interest in underserved and underinsured populations Primary Care NP /
PA Compensation Base Salary:
$105K-$110K $20 per encounter after 210 encounters per month Threshold ~10 patients per day Average volume supports consistent bonus earnings High-volume providers (20-25/day) maximize bonus potential Estimated bonus: $30K-$50K+ annually NHSC Loan Repayment eligible Primary Care NP / PA Benefits 100% employer-paid health insurance for employee Dental and vision coverage available at low cost Access to no-cost care (PCP, labs, prescriptions) 403(b) retirement plan with employer participation Malpractice insurance provided CME allowance + dedicated CME time Paid Time Off + paid holidays Employee Assistance Program and wellness resources
