JOB SUMMARY
Olympic Medical Physicians' Primary Care clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State's beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial team.
Highlights of the practice include:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State OR
  • Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree
  • Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements. Experience
  • 2 years prior primary care experience preferred, but not required. Licensure/Credentials
  • Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State OR
  • Current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority
  • Maintains current DEA registration. Buprenorphine waiver preferred, but not required.
  • Maintains current [BLS or ACLS] certification.
  • Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff. Qualities
  • Advocates for patient-centered care.
Highly skilled in effective interpersonal communication and diplomatic relations with public, patients, nursing staff, supervisors and coworkers.
