Job Description
Family Medicine opening in GeorgiaBowman, GAFull timeOverviewJoin a patient-centered healthcare organization committed to delivering comprehensive, coordinated care. As part of a recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), you will play a key role in providing high-quality medical services while working collaboratively within a team-based care model.
Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions Obtain and document comprehensive medical histories using the electronic medical record (EMR) system Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests and imaging Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans Perform minor outpatient procedures and surgeries Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and disease management Refer patients to specialists when appropriate Provide hospital care when requiredCare Team & Leadership Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated care Supervise and provide guidance to clinical staff Assist with medical training and staff development Provide coverage across multiple clinics sites as needed Participate in organizational committees and quality initiativesCommunity & Organizational Involvement Participate in community health promotion and outreach initiatives Engage in local medical conferences and professional development Support organizational quality assurance programs Promote awareness and positive engagement within the communityQualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of internship and residency program Board Eligible or Board Certified Eligible for medical licensure in GeorgiaSkills & Abilities Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions Commitment to preventive medicine and patient education Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care environment Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentationPractice Highlights Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model Emphasis on preventive care and population health Team-based, coordinated approach to patient care Opportunities for leadership, teaching, and community involvementWork Environment Outpatient clinical setting with potential hospital involvement Collaborative, mission-driven organization Focus on quality, accessibility, and comprehensive careWhy This Opportunity Stands Out Strong focus on patient-centered, team-based care Opportunities for professional growth and leadership Meaningful community engagement and impact Supportive and collaborative clinical environment
