We have eight elementary schools (including one dual-language immersion and one TK-8 school), two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools. NUSD also has an Alternative Education Center housing a continuation school and an independent study student program serving grades 6-12. All schools within Novato Unified offer special education services, along with Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), and special assistance is provided for all English learner students.

This position is 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. It offers Kaiser, Delta Dental/Vision Services Plan and California Public Retirement System (CalPERS), paid holidays and sick leave. Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens.
