This is an Agricultural Labor Program clearance order for temporary or seasonal agricultural workers.

Interested applicants should report to any State Workforce Agency (SWA) career center for help in contacting the employer. Referral by a career center provides program guarantees and protections that may not be available to a worker not referred. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. Workers referred to this job by a SWA should report to a career center between 5 and 9 work days before the job start date to verify the job start date is the same. Failure to do so may disqualify the worker from the assurances of this Job Order. Worksites are located in Martin, Palm Beach counties. Housing is located in Belle Glade, FL. (Palm Beach County) D.
Job Offer:
Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Duties may vary from time to time. Following the Supervisors instructions, the worker will fulfill the following duties: Lay Plastic (Seep): Workers are required to load 75 to 80 lbs. rolls of plastic and drip tape rolls weighing approximately 50lbs on to machinery and ride on the back of machinery to ensure rolls are distributed evenly on beds of dirt. Worker is required to ride fertilizer wagon and use a shovel to make sure there is no clogging of fertilizer at distribution. Worker is required to remove casing when rolls of plastic and drip tape have emptied and repeat process. Plastic machine riders have other tasks required to lay plastic such as: bed pressing, clean out fertilizer hoppers, painting numbers and measuring row lengths. Workers are required to use a shovel to tuck in the ends of the plastic being laid by machinery at the ends of each row. Repairs are to be made to plastic and splices as necessary throughout field. Worker is to cut plastic at each hundred-foot marked area to create a walkway by slicing with shovel and tuck plastic after removing excess dirt to create walkways for harvest. Worker is required to dig a spillway at each row designated; by the removal of dirt and forming a plastic barrier with rolls of plastic to create a spillage for water to drain. Units covered will be divided by number of workers on the crew times the pay rate.

End & Row Cutting:
Worker is to cut plastic at each hundred-foot marked area to create a walkway by slicing with shovel and tuck plastic after removing excess dirt to create walkways for harvest. Worker is required to dig a spillway at each row designated; by the removal of dirt and forming a plastic barrier with rolls of plastic to create a spillage for water to drain. Units covered will be divided by number of workers on the crew times the pay rate.
Plastic Repair:
Repairs are to be made to plastic and splices as necessary throughout field. Shovel Work (End): Workers are required to use a shovel to tuck in the ends of the plastic being laid by machinery at the ends of each row.
Planting:
Loading and unloading of plant trays from plant delivery boxes to planting machine, unloading empty trays from planter back onto plant boxes. Riding on plant machine and placing one plant into each hole made by plant machine and gathering soil to fill in space around the plant with soil using hand. Walking also behind planting machine placing a plant in hold that was missed and filling in the hole with soil by using hand. Removing plants at walkways. Units covered will be divided by number of workers on the crew times the pay rate.
Replanting:
When needed, replanting will require employee to carry trays that weigh 1•5lbs into field to replace injured or dead plants in field rows. Irrigation installation & removal: Connecting and installing irrigation (poly) lines at various points in fields for irrigation practices of crops. Removal of irrigation (poly) lines and connections at end of crop season. This task will include shovel work as needed. Staking•
Tomatoes:
Grape, Rounds, Roma, Plum, and eggplant: Using both hands gathering bundles of stakes from bed of field truck and carrying to place a tomato stake between each tomato plant. Each stake must remain upright. Repeat process through entire rows and field. Once the first procedure is performed by an air hammer system being pulled by a tractor, the worker places an air hammer over the stake to drive in the stake 12"•14" into the ground. If using manual hammers, worker must place opening over stake and pound stake into the ground also 12"•14". This task will include clean up and removal of broken stakes as needed. Paid per 100 ft.
Pay:
Florida Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR)•$16.23 per hour ¾ Guarantee is in effect.

$16.23 per hour

None Pay is: Weekly Employer provides tools/equipment.
Withholding:
Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is August 11, 2025 to May 15, 2026 .
Hours:
36 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Saturday 6 hours per day . Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G. Housing and Board.
Housing:
Will provide free housing for workers who arrive from outside daily commuting distance. Family housing is not available. Meals (Board): The employer will provide free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and free weekly transportation to the grocery store to workers living in employer-provided housing which will enable workers to prepare their own meals. Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer's job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer's H-2A workers. This does not relieve the employer from providing to H-2A workers at least the same level of minimum benefits, wages, and working conditions which must be offered to U.S. workers. I.
