Duties Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring efficient transaction processing. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining high-quality presentation and taste. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques. Operate cash registers confidently, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards to ensure food safety. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients, portioning items, and stocking supplies for smooth kitchen operation. Support team members by performing duties like food delivery from kitchen to serving areas and assisting with basic kitchen tasks as needed. Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are most important! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus but can be learned on the job. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing retail math are essential. Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued. Experience in retail environments like grocery stores or cafes can provide a strong foundation for success in this role. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude that makes every guest feel welcome.
