FedEx Ground BC (FedEx Experience REQUIRED)

Hiring for Independent Service Provider that contracts with FedEx Ground to deliver and pick up packages. We are now accepting applications for a Manager Business Contact (BC) position. Requirements At least 1 year of FedEx BC, FedEx Manager and/or FedEx Driver experience required! Clean Motor Vehicle Record Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam Must be willing to undergo a background check Physically able to lift packages from 1-2 lbs up to 50 lbs, and move up to 150 lbs with a handcart Preferred Skills DOT Trainer Certification Preferred DRO/FRO Knowledge Preferred GroundCloud Knowledge Preferred A minimum of 2 years in management or leadership position. Must have attention to detail, organization. Ability to triage and handle multiple requests simultaneously. Ability to learn and utilize applicable technology and software programs. Job Responsibilities Dispatching 8-15 routes daily. Recruiting and onboarding of new talent including job postings, timely candidate contacts, interviews, hiring including but not limited to First Advantage (FADV) background and follow-up, eVerify, road test/training and FedEx security clearance for badging and access. Complete FedEx Route Optimization (FRO) prior to day of attendance to ensure efficient and compliant delivery. Collaborate with other Business Contacts (BCs) and staff to assist in daily dispatch activities including morning meetings, unload/reload, coordination of rental vehicles, and assisting with pre-inspection and program logins. Training employees on safety events, software programs, safety and procedural violation counseling including employee write-ups and terminations. Assist, train and resolve in daily live vehicle audits and post-inspection. Daily monitoring of safety violation, DOT compliance, and follow-up on First Advantage tasks. Daily monitoring, documentation and follow-up of fleet maintenance with preparation of monthly maintenance reports for FedEx. Complete scheduling payroll preparation, timesheet and time off approvals. Other duties as assigned by Officers of the Company including driver and Field BC responsibilities when necessary. Professional, courteous and prompt response with Officers of the Company, drivers and all FedEx employees.
