FedEx Safety Coordinator (DOT & Fleet Safety Experience Required)

Tomek Logistics Inc. is a growing FedEx contractor operating across multiple states and FedEx stations. We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to strengthen our safety culture and reduce accident occurrences across our fleet operations. This position will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive safety plan to ensure DOT compliance, improve driver performance, and significantly lower safety incidents. Compensation $1,200 per week (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage a company-wide safety program Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations and federal and state safety standards Conduct truck inspections and oversee preventive safety measures Analyze accident trends and implement corrective action plans Lead safety meetings and safety training sessions with managers and drivers Monitor driver performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action when necessary Create structured safety improvement plans to reduce accident frequency

Qualifications:

Multiple years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a similar fleet safety role Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and truck inspection requirements Experience working with a large trucking or transportation company Proven track record of reducing accidents and improving safety metrics Strong leadership, communication, and accountability skills
