Feed Mill Operator Darling International Inc. $23.76 / hr United States, Nebraska, Omaha 3505 South 34th Street (Show on map) May 24, 2026 Job Summary The Feed Mill Operator is responsible for grinding, loading, and unloading of material. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Responsible to log and grind materials to correct bins and silos. Load all outgoing meal loads into clean, dry trailer ensuring correct trailer weights. Collect samples, label, and deliver to lab. Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment and keeps grinding room and load out area clean and sanitary. Operates various company vehicles around the facility. Completes paperwork with regard to logging of materials and loads. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age. Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications High School diploma preferred. Good communication skills both oral and written; must be able to follow both written and oral directions. Team player; works well with others. Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task. Good math skills; must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers. Physical Demands Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch. Frequently required to lift up to 10 lbs. Occasionally required to push, pull, move, or lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
