Feed Mill Worker

Duties Operate and monitor feed mill machinery, including mixers, and conveyorsto ensure optimal performance. Load raw ingredients into processing equipment using forklifts or other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the feed mill area to uphold safety standards and product quality. Conduct routine inspections of equipment for maintenance needs or malfunctions, reporting issues promptly. Assist with the transportation of raw materials or finished products using commercial trucks as needed. Follow safety protocols rigorously during all operations, including proper handling of hazardous materials. Support the overall manufacturing process by adjusting machinery settings according to production requirements. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or food processing environments. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or other industrial machinery; forklift certification is preferred. Familiarity with farming, agriculture, or food production processes is highly advantageous. Experience in operating commercial vehicles, including large trucks, is a plus. Strong attention to safety procedures and compliance with workplace regulations. Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks reliably.
