Job Description

Overview Looking for more than just a job? Be part of a team that keeps operations moving. A Feedlot Crew Member supports core operations that directly involve cattle health, performance, and overall yard success. This role involves working across livestock care, equipment operation, and facility maintenance to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment. If you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in seeing the results of your efforts, you're in the right place! Duties Assist with the feeding, watering, and general care of livestock, ensuring animals are healthy and comfortable Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, feed trucks and other farm machinery safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, including welding and using hand tools or power tools Support animal handling activities, including loading, unloading, and moving animals within the feedlot. Help with cleaning pens, barns, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to monitor animal health, report issues promptly, and ability to shift focus depending on need. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge or experience with farm machinery, equipment repair, welding, or power tools is highly desirable but not required. Familiarity with animal husbandry practices, animal handling techniques, and general animal care is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment and the willingness to learn. Able to lift at least 50 lbs and able to stand for long periods of time. Experience with farming operations or agriculture-related activities enhances your fit for this role.
